Friday Tutorial

Finally! It's Friday...I need a holiday
I hope you enjoyed this weeks tutorial - I know I did :)
To start with...
Pinecone ink = I LOVE THE STUFF! It's so close to black...even though it's brown. Great, would really reccomend.

Haha, I'v just finished filming next weeks Friday Tutorial - it looks so cute! Only problem will be, it's 9mins and 54 secs...it's going to be a looonnnggg upload.

Also, keep listening out for my competition - it's going to be so much fun!

Hi everyone!
Just a quick post today - just an update on what I have been doing on YouTube really.

I posted another 'requested video' (although a little later than planed) for Leonorasshows. This weeks vid was an UPDATED craft room tour - which I have been meaning to do for AGES, but havent gotten around to it, so this request was a push in the right direction!

I also answered Sophianna's questions for her magazine, in a video. I am really privileged to be able to be featured in her magazine.
She still as one spot left - for a YouTube crafter to have their interveiw posted on her Magazine...so check out her YouTube channel (Sophiannadesigns) and send her a request.

Apart from that, I will be having a - wait for it - COMPETITION!
More info on that will be posted tonight, so check it out!

I'll be posting the Friday tutorial as well, tonight or tomorow, so keep watching!

(Just quickly, I start my vid's with that every time - leave suggestions for new opening phrases in the comment's)

Anyway, I had fun making this card. Simple, but cute - and YES using more KRAFT CARDSTOCK!
Thank You so much to Chelle (Youtube user - ChelleBB) who saw my video saying I was desperate for more kraft, and so kindly donated her spare 10 sheets to me =]
So, Chelle, keep checking the mail - I'm sure this card will be familiar to you very soon.

In the next week, I'm going to me making some 'requested' videos - so stay tuned.

wow, what a week! I'v been super busy...with everything, I'm really looking forward to the weekend!

Anyway, with this weeks tutorial, I wasn't too sure where I was going too start with, but it got there - and I think it looks fabulous! I stared with a 7-1/4 by 3-3/4 Kraft cardstock base (that reminds me, when I say those measurements, I mean unfolded, not folded) - but as seen in the tutorial, I trimmed the edges by around 1/4 inch. The stamping was using VersaMark ink, and embossed in clear embossing powder. I know I embossed before I started filming, but ya'll know how to do that anyway...I hope. I was thinking of making a embossing tutorial, so I can emboss before tutorials more often (it takes too long!. In addition to that, I used 'Basic Grey's Lime Ricky' papers for the first time - they're so fun and bright!
So, anyway, just to clear some things up - which, as you can tell, I am never able to do properly on a video...haha.
Tutorials will be 'Friday tutorials' - so where ever you live in the world, thats what it's called anyway! Clearer pictures of the finished card will be posted on this blog...either before or after the video has been posted.

Hi Again!
So, this week, I am again using one of the glitter die-cuts from the - Making Memories 'Just Chillin Girl' Pack - and another butterfly.
I think I'm ready to admit I'm obsessed with these products. They're just so 'light hearted' and fun - which reminds me, I'm in need of another stamping video.
I'm thinking this is going to be for my besties B'day (lol, I'm only 8 hours older than her) on Friday *wink*...
Anyway, as I said in the video, the ribbon was from a drapery (wow, does that word even still exist?) down the road and was only 30cents a metre!! Same with the orange button (no, I didn't just buy the orange ones).
Oh well, its late, and I'm in need of some sleep - twitter me!
